“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.”
- Dr. Seuss
Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here.
Photography has been part of my life for more than 30 years, and over those decades, it has become much more than a skill or profession—it is my way of honoring the fleeting beauty and meaningfulness of life’s moments. As a mother of three grown children (and now a dog grandma!), I know how quickly time passes and how deeply we long to hold onto those precious years. My greatest joy as a photographer is helping families preserve their special moments and milestones through timeless, fine art imagery that can be cherished for generations.
Along with my decades as a photographer, I spent over seven years as an early childhood educator where I gained extensive training and experience working with children of all ages, including children with special needs. That background, combined with my own motherhood experience, has given me a deep well of patience, empathy, and understanding—qualities that help children (and parents!) feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera.
Pets, especially dogs, also hold a special place in my heart. After all, they are part of the family. As a lifelong dog owner, dog-sitter, and dog grandma, I’ve learned to capture their joyful spirits and the unique bond they share with families.
When planning sessions, I thoughtfully curate locations to create the most scenic backdrops for the season and for each family’s story. Often, I welcome clients into my own gardens—spaces I planned, created and lovingly maintain as a Certified Master Gardener. These gardens, along with hand-selected natural backdrops, provide a serene and enchanting setting for fine art portraits.
I offer a great deal of flexibility in scheduling and packaging, and I genuinely strive to accommodate each family’s needs. You’ll receive outstanding, personalized service - just check out my five-star Google reviews!
I believe photographs are not just images, but tangible reminders of moments gone by and of the love and connections we share. They are windows that transport us back to tender moments with our children, our families and our beloved pets.
Photography is more than just a job for me - it’s a way to memorialize connection, growth, relationships and love. If you are seeking a photographer who will capture your story with artistry, warmth, and care, I would be honored to craft timeless portraits that celebrate your love and relationships with beautiful, keepsake images.
